The other issue I'm seeing is that the color looks washed out. bsnes is a Super Nintendo emulator that began development on back in the mid-2000s. At 1080p, the phosphor and scanline rendering looks more correct, but it's not as good definition as I'm seeing in other people's 4k screenshots. ![]() Some of these shaders simulate CRT phosphors, and I'm seeing people have screenshots where the phosphors and scanlines are perfectly aligned to the SNES pixels as they would be on a real CRT, but for me there are like four "phosphors" per pixel which does not look correct. I'm running on a 4k TV, but when I run the BSNES emulator for example with CRT-Royale (the SVideo slang version), the scanlines are too small (two scanlines per SNES pixel - should be one, yes?). Unlike the Center mode in original bsnes, the Pixel-Perfect mode in bsnes-mt results in that scales are integer both vertically and horizontally, even with aspect-ratio correction enabled. I'm looking for a good CRT shader configuration for SNES (and NES too). bsnes-mt (improved version of bsnes) a SNES emulator for Windows has the Pixel-Perfect mode: Settings Output Pixel-Perfect. What should this filter setting be set to? I'm setting it to Normalx2 currently.
